Blepharoplasty Questions
Dallas and Forth Worth, Texas
Am I a good candidate for blepharoplasty?
If you have puffy eyes or bags, you might be a good candidate for eyelid surgery. Many patients with droopy eyelids have their appearances rejuvenated with eyelid surgery.
Where are the incisions for blepharoplasty?
Dr. Rai usually makes incisions along the natural crease of your upper eyelid and just below the bottom lashes. He removes excess fat, muscle and skin and closes the incisions using very fine sutures. Once healed, the scars are almost invisible.
What are the risks associated with blepharoplasty surgery?
All surgeries involve some risks. If you choose a qualified plastic surgeon like Dr. Rai, those risks will be greatly reduced. Double or blurred vision following eyelid surgery may occur for a few days. Swelling in the corners of the yes is also temporary as the eyes heal.
For more information on the risks and benefits of rhinoplasty, please call or email Dr. Rai at our Dallas, Texas plastic surgery office.
