What will I look like after my nose surgery?
Dr. Rai advises that for the first few days, you will have black eyes and your cheeks may be slightly swollen. The discoloration will disappear in a few days. Swelling around your nose may last a couple of weeks and almost all the swelling will be gone after a couple of months.

After a local or general anesthesia is administered, Dr. Rai gently moves the skin of the nose away from the nasal cartilage and bone. Next, he sculpts the cartilage and bone to the desired shape and the skins is replaced. Dr. Rai usually makes incisions inside the nasal cavity and at the base of the nose to minimize visible scarring.
